Kantipur Engineering College, a partner of Erasmus+ eACCESS project organized a workshop on “Automation Training Course Development” on September 4, 2023 in the college. The objective of the workshop was to finalize the training course content for professional trainings in Automation to be conducted by the college in the near future. More than 13 experts from academia, industries and service sectors participated in the workshop and provided valuable insights for the trainings. The workshop also opened door for possible collaborations with the invited organizations to plan for the sustainability of the Automation Laboratory established in the college under the funding of Erasmus+ eACCESS Project. The Automation lab shall work as a center of excellence in Nepal to train people with PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Switch Gear and many industrial system components.
