Er. Ravi Chandra Koirala, a native of Pokhara, is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering.
Prior to joining Kantipur Engineering College he has worked as Community/Academic Lead at Microsoft MDP Nepal from June 2009 to January 2011. While there he was responsible for all the Community and Academic activities run by Microsoft in Nepal. His major responsibility was to lead the Microsoft Student Partners, MSP Program. He was involved in the administration of Brain Works Learning Solution Center Pvt. Ltd., the then Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solution as the Head of Department. He played a leading role in creating Technological awareness among the ICT students and to organize several high-end Trainings on Microsoft Product and Technologies for corporate clients, colleges and Universities. He has received Best Idea Award in ROBOCUP Nepal 2064.
Koirala received his graduate degree from Kantipur Engineering College in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He is pursuing his master degree in Computer Engineering from Nepal College of Information Technology, affiliated to Pokhara University. Besides, he has earned Diploma degree in Renewable Energy Resources, Health and Environment and People with Disability in Modern Society from Biopolitics International Organization, Athens, Greece through e-learning course. He is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in different technologies and has owned JNCIA-ER certification from Juniper Networks.
