A “One-day Workshop on Effective Teaching” was held on 22nd November 2018 at Meeting Hall, Administrative Block of Kantipur Engineering College. This is an annual program organized by Research, Training and Consulting Division (RTCD) of the college with the objective of improving teaching skills and developing coordination and communication along with professional traits among newly recruited academic faculty of the college.
In total, nine faculty members participated in this workshop. Introduction of the key persons further facilitation of the program was done by Dr. Surendra Bdr. Tamrakar, Chief of RTCD. Vice-principal, Dr. Keshar Prasain gave welcome remarks highlighting the college policies. Dr. Madan Bista was the motivational speaker of the workshop who talked about the importance of “Teamwork and Communication”. Visiting Professor, Er. Nabin Chandra Sharma emphasized the necessity of lesson planning for running smooth lectures. Principal, Er. Rameshwar Rijal welcomed the new faculties and gave a short presentation on “Organizational Structure”. During the program, some experienced faculties shared their teaching experience.
