You have an Idea. It’s Innovative. You don’t know how the Idea is going to work. Nobody knows. You always wanted to work on it, work around it and put it to test. You wanted to make it big. You need resources. You need a platform to take it forward and that is what ideathon is all about .

The competition is not about just recognizing the ideas but taking the ideas to the next level and an effort to make them motivate toward entrepreneurs and bring a revolution in young minds about being self dependent .

KEC Startup Ideathon:

With the theme of ideaton , which is certainly a great idea to work upon to promote the entrepreneurship at the level of students . KEC having the reputation of one of the oldest engineering college in Nepal and LITE being part of it , it will be great to expose the potential entrepreneur inside us . This event is targeted to all the IT and Engineering College in particular. Particularly in this event which is technical and innovative , there is certainly place for some intellectual discussions and we  had always believed it as a platform which flourishes the ideas .

It has been a long thought process and lot of discussion involved with , professionals , mentors , investors , industry elite , seniors and interested groups and we  have found it fascinating to set a platform at least where the participants can pitch their ideas of startup , can show their demo products , can take feedbacks and the words of invitees from well reputed organization will be interesting for them . Participants being IT students or engineering background behind them, it certainly gives us a chance to held our head high to create such an example .

Objectives:
The objectives of “ KEC Startup Ideathon “ are as follows :
-To help the participants and audience students sharpen their minds and give them the opportunity to express themselves , learn entrepreneurship and develop their practical knowledge about idea pitching and startup .
-To provide a platform for intellectual interactions and setting up fair competition among involved creative brains .
-To promote and develop professionalism , team spirit , integrity and communication among different students of different colleges .
-To familiarize students and participants about current – contemporary trends of IT entrepreneurship .
-To provide our participants with grand exposure to the inspirational groups of active young entrepreneurs .
