Basic Electronics Workshop

Workshop objectives

  • Basic introduction to electronics components and sensors provided in the kit
  • Basic circuit design and prototyping using breadboard
  • Circuit soldering and testing using matrix board
  • Introduction to Arduino and Arduino IDE
  • Basic Arduino coding

Workshop Progress

This workshop was organized by electronics club with the help from students of BEX/BEI 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. This two-day workshop organized, introduced and familiarized the electronics components, sensors, instruments, etc. provided by the college in electronics kit box. Further a basic LDR circuit was designed and tested with initial prototyping in breadboard followed by soldering in matrix board. A LED blinking and ultrasonic distance measuring script was coded and tested using Arduino IDE. All first year student being divided in a group of two, participated in a workshop and showed interest for further session in the future.
