Conference Objective:

With the vision: Involvement of both Students and Faculties towards Research Activities- Research, Training and Consultancy Division (RTCD), Kantipur Engineering College (KEC) is organizing one day international “KEC Conference 2019”. Along with this conference, a symposium will also be held on Sustainable Water Resource Management in collaboration with our Symposium Partner Smartphones For Water Nepal (S4W-Nepal).

Sustainable Water Resource Management

Water is a vital yet finite resource and its use today is primarily dominated by agriculture followed by industrial and domestic demands. Increasing human population combined with the irregularity in precipitation and water availability has affected the quality and quantity of water further affecting the ecosystem services provided by them. The objective of the symposium is to integrate research, technology, and practice in the field of water resources; and bring together scientists, academicians, researchers, practicing engineers, consultants, planners, policymakers, and government officials from across the country to share their knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise through research papers, case studies, and keynote addresses for sustainable water resource management.

Thematic areas for the symposium:

Note: Papers by undergraduate students will be evaluated for BEST PAPER AWARD

Paper Submission:
Paper should be limited to 8 pages

Submission deadline: 15th August, 2019
Acceptance/Rejection Information: 31st August, 2019
Registration/Camera Ready Paper Submission deadline: 7th September, 2019

National Participants: NRs.1000 for institutional/individual participation and NRs.500 for students.
